Media Lab Releases 64bit Version of SiteGrinder 3 for MS Windows
SiteGrinder 3 Now Takes Advantage of Photoshop’s New 64bit Flash Support
LOGAN, UT–(Marketwire – Jul 12, 2011) – Media Lab Inc., premier provider of Photoshop plug-in website creation technologies, announces that SiteGrinder 3 for Microsoft Windows is now compatible with Photoshop running in 64bit mode. With Adobe’s recent beta download release of 64bit flash support for Photoshop, SiteGrinder users can now convert their Photoshop website designs to websites taking full advantage of the enhanced speed and enlarged memory access that 64 bit Photoshop provides. Previous versions of SiteGrinder 3 required users to run Photoshop in 32 bit mode even with 64bit versions of Microsoft Windows.
The Media Lab SiteGrinder 3 platform is a collection of powerful website development tools that automatically convert Photoshop PSD files into standards compliant web pages. SiteGrinder 3 creates elements such as customized CSS text, web-optimized images, interactive buttons and menus, drop shadows, rounded corners, transparency, CSS animation, image galleries and more.
The 64bit and 32bit versions are now available from the Media Lab website as a single download of SiteGrinder 3.2.3 or later. “For maximum convenience we made the single installer smart enough to install SiteGrinder for 64bit, for 32bit, or for both, depending on the user’s Windows and Photoshop installations,” said Media Lab President Tom Summerall.
SiteGrinder 3 for Mac 64bit is still under development, as is the 64bit Flash player for Macintosh from Adobe.
On the PC, SiteGrinder 3 is compatible with Windows XP and later, including Windows 7. It requires Photoshop 7 or later including the latest Photoshop CS5, or Photoshop Elements 6, 7, 8 and 9. On the Mac, SiteGrinder 3 is compatible with Mac OS X 10.1 or greater, Photoshop CS3 CS4 or CS5 (Mac OS X 10.4 or later for the Intel-based Mac), or Photoshop Elements 6, 7, 8 and 9.
