Hello,

I would like to have a scrolling paragraph text box on the left side of my site indicating the different tourism operators around my region. I would like each of the operators text (name, location) to link to their business page on the website.

Is it possible to link this certain text to certain pages in photoshop or do I have to do it in another program? ("add hyperlink")

Use a -links layer to indicate what phrases in the scrolling type layer should have links and what the links should be.

links documentation:

Also this is discussed in the text techniques video on our videos page.

But there are no buttons in the scrolling text to link to the -link hint.

I get an error saying that there is no button to link to the -link hint.

I am trying to have all of my operators listed on one page, and I feel that a scrolling page would be best. I need them all to be buttons so I could link them to the proper page and also for them to bring up a -popup hint once I rollover them. (A mark on the map to show where the operators location is situated will pop up)

-links with an "s", not -link.

-link matches to a -button.

-links matches to a text layer.

It says "Links layer without matching text layer"... Now I know what that error means, and its true because I names the text layer (I only have one text layer for all of the buttons) does not match the links names - the links names are parts of text in that one text-scroll layer.

I don't even know if this is possible.

Are you saying it isn't working if you follow the -links layer directions?

If you have a type layer named tourism-scroll with the following text:

Visit the chamber of commerce
Visit the tourism center

And you make a -links layer named tourism-links with the following text:

chamber of commerce
www.chamberofcommerce.com

tourism center
www.tourismcenter.com

Then "chamber of commerce" and "toursim center' will have the specified links. You don't need the button hint or anything like that.
