is there a specific setting that your text should be for pds2fla to export. i mean as far as should i rasterize the text or not. it seems like text is where i'm having a problem. i just get random crashes. oh and i'm using cs4.

If you are using CS4 you should use the Flash PSD importer instead of PSD2FLA.

If you need to use PSD2FLA be aware that crashes are usually caused by unsupported layer fx. You can pre-render the layer fx of offending layers by creating a new empty image layer under the original and doing a merge down to it.
