| I have no problem with my flash (flv) file on preview but it won't play when I build it to a folder or upload it to my site. |

You have the current version of SiteGrinder?
Your browser has javascript on?
Are you placing the .flv in the build directory before linking to it? I'd recommend not doing this, because by doing so you are taking on the burden of making sure the file name is server compatible. Place the .flv elsewhere, link the -xmedia layer to it, build to a folder somewhere. SiteGrinder will copy the .flv file over, changing the name if needed, and link it up.

| My browser if Firefox and I know there are incompatabilities with it and Java, could that be the problem? I moved the file to a separate folder and get the same result the video plays on preview but not on build. |

When all else fails. I went to my notebook with I.E. and Vista and did a sample file using the same flash and it works. I also have SG2 on my notebook. I went back to my original file and encountered the same problem. Next I tried building everything, not just the flash, to a new folder and that worked with all the various browsers. It is now on the web and working swell.
Thanks for your patience. |
