I have a question on what happens when SiteGrinder builds a web page from the Photoshop document layers. From what I’ve seen when I do this is that SG makes separate .html pages from all the layers. Is that what is supposed to happen? I thought that only one .html page would be built by SG from all the visible layers in the Photoshop document.
I just discovered and started to use SG. I certainly am not knowledgeable in HTML, but have designed and set up webpages myself, nonetheless, simply out of sheer will power. I used Go Live and then Xtivity (check out the two here: http:www.paduaprep.com ). I’m stating this history, since my experience with these two web design programs was that only one .html page was built (obviously with some supporting files, but these were not .html) for each page I wanted.
Any clarification would be helpful. I’ve read the support documents on the SG site but am still unclear on the above issue. Thanks in advance |

Eric,
Thanks for your feedback and clarifying links. Your answer was right on, and I somewhat suspected that was the case after looking at the page names.
I had to begin page design somewhere, so I created a page with links, not realizing that SG would generate html pages based on these links.
BTW, SG2 is an excellent program, and has saved me tons of time already!
Thanks |
