ok, so i have built a decent sized box with -xmedia, so it will continuously slideshow my pictures. Underneath the -media box, i put a -thumbsheet box with the -scroll hint so users can scroll through and look at all the pictures thumbnails.
now here is what i am having trouble with, i want to be able to click on the thumb nails in the -thumbsheet box, and have it bring up the picture full size, and obviously be able to navagate -next, -prev, and -up. I'm a little confused on how to make this work. i get a little confused with created gallerys inside of gallerys etc...
detailed instruction would be awesome, im kinda slow at this
thankyou

In the Design Manager when configuring your thumbsheet, change the what to do when clicked from picturebox to bigbox.
When you close your thumbsheet, you'll see a new bigbox listed in the gallery appearance control. Configure it, if needed. |

wait, those instructions above are for SiteGrinder 3.. I didn't realize you were posting about SiteGrinder 2.
SiteGrinder 2 doesn't support any sort of Lightbox or full screen images for its galleries. You need SG3 for that. |

so there is no way in SGP 2 to have my flash video play, and then a -thumbsheet/-scroll box under it? All i want to do is have that flash video play and then click the thumbnails and have them pop up. Any round about ways to get this done?
thankyou |

do you have to have a -picturebox, to have a -thumbsheet? or can the -thumbsheet not stand on its own

SiteGrinder 2 doesn't natively support this type of gallery that you're looking for, but that doesn't stop you from importing code through -xmedia or adding code manually through editing the HTML.
There are so many gallery options out there that do what you're looking at videobox.lb is a prime example. Most of these don't require coding, but they do require that you can read so you can follow instructions.
Think of it like building a piece of Ikea furniture, you don't have to know how it was built, but as long as you follow the instructions and hold tight to that little allen wrench they provide, you'll get a piece of functional Swedish small furniture.
Hope this helps. |
