|
|
Hey!
This is my first post here so I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this.
I would like to add some flash animation to my site such as a photo gallery, effects to buttons and maybe an animated banner. But for now, I want to just work on the animated button.
The effect I want is just a simple glow but have it animated. I have Adobe Flash CS5 and Photoshop of-course
It is a really simple 2-3 page website (Photography portfolio) and on the first page it only has some text (that needed to be tagged "-img") and a button saying "Enter Gallery". This is the button I would like to animate.
Could anyone link me to a tutorial please? (no video though - sattelite internet)
I'm not sure if this is possible, but is there a website that has flash scripts or somthing that I can just add to the button in some way? I'm new to Flash so this may sound silly.
Thanks |

Spiiral,
This forum is about SiteGrinder 2 Pro and generally the discussions taking place in the other topics are also about SiteGrinder (SG3 being the current version). If your question was "I have some Flash, how do I put it on my page" we can help you, but if your question is "How do I do this in Flash?" I'm not sure this is the best locale. Adobe has Flash support forums, and google is ever your friend, I bet he has some suggestions. Try googling "Flash Forums" or "Flash Tutorial" or "Flash Community Site".
Hope this helps,
Chris
P.S. If you have a Flash movie you want on your site and you are using SiteGrinder, the -xmedia hint will let you place it on your page. This will work well if the Flash movie is self contained. If it depends on other files, they might all have to be moved into place first. |

In SG2, if you have have a -button layer, you use a matching -rollover layer for the rollover state. This simply swaps in, it is not animated.
If you want to use Flash to make buttons, you can do so, but SG can't use it's fancy linking features on them. You'll have to set the links in the Flash button itself. |
