SPECIAL SHOW PRICING FOR MEDIA LAB's PHOTOCASTER™ AT PHOTOSHOP WORLD 2000

Popular Xtra Imports Photoshop® Files Layer by Layer into a Director Cast

Longmont, Colorado -- March 30, 2000 -- Attendees of Photoshop World 2000 can save money as well as time when they purchase Media Lab's PhotoCaster Xtra for Macromedia Director at the special show price of $149 US - a fifty-dollar savings. This popular Xtra imports Photoshop files, layer by layer, into a Director cast with a single mouse click. To take advantage of the reduced price, Photoshop users can stop by the Media Lab booth #105 at the Orange County Convention Center on March 31 or April 1, 2000.

Introduced in March 1996 with a major upgrade released in December 1998, PhotoCaster eliminates hours of tedious work for virtually every Director user. With one click, each layer appears as an individual cast member - indexed, anti-aliased, properly registered, fully transparent, and ready to rock. PhotoCaster runs on both Macintosh and PC platforms.

Without PhotoCaster, each layer of a Photoshop file must be extracted, saved as a separate file, and imported one-by-one into Director. And, worse, key information about exactly where a graphic should be positioned on the screen is lost in this manual process, forcing designers to redo in Director work they've already done in Photoshop.

"Today, PhotoCaster is the most useful and widely accepted Xtra for Director," said Media Lab CEO Chris Perkins. "The only Director users not using PhotoCaster are the ones who haven't heard about it."
