Whoops! Your Request Was Blocked

For security, MediaLab uses a web application firewall (WAF) to block unwanted or suspicious input. It blocks automatic attacks on the website, and it inspects user input to ensure there's no code that would try to compromise security.
Your last action was blocked for one of these reasons:
  • The text you entered was too long, or the file you tried to upload was too big.
  • The text you entered contained characters that the firewall believe were malicious or malicious in combination with other characters.
  • You clicked a link from an email that was modified by your email client.
  • Your IP may be falsely flagged as having a record of previous malicious activity.
  • You have third-party cookies that are trying to interact with MediaLab. These can set by deal-browsing plug-ins that you'd use on Amazon or Expedia, or utility extensions like Grammarly and ad blockers.
You can try:
  • Entering less text, if possible.
  • Upload a smaller file. You can use "Compress Images" in Word to greatly reduce the file size of Word documents with multiple images.
  • Revise your text slightly to remove special characters in combination. One & is usually OK, but multiple special characters in a row may be flagged.
  • Copy and paste the URL from your email rather than clicking the link. Some email clients modify the link in emails in a way that's not compatible.
  • Trying a different computer or browser.
  • Disabling browser plug-ins for medialab.com.
  • Clearing your cookies or cache.
We are continually tuning the firewall to maximize security while minimizing user disruption because of false positives. If the above suggestions did not resolve the issue, please contact us.
