How do I change file format and compression settings for web graphics?

From a menu in SiteGrinder's Compression pane you can select from any of the default or custom presets found in Photoshop's "Save For Web" dialog. You can select specific presets for specific layers and a global preset that will be applied to all the rest.

You can customize how graphical layers are converted to compressed web graphics by using Photoshop's "Save For Web" dialog to create custom settings and the SiteGrinder window's "Compression" pane to select the settings.

In this screenshot from Photoshop's "Save For Web" dialog you can see the all of the current compression presets.

In this case there are the 12 presets that come installed with Photoshop and one custom preset at the bottom of the list called ("Tom's GIF") that we have made.

To make a custom preset just change the settings to be what you like and then click the small arrow in the circle next to the presets menu and choose "Save Settings..." from the menu that appears.
