How do I create a popup?

All you need to create a popup is a layer with the "-button" hint and a layer with the "-popup" hint.

The document represented by the layer list to the right contains a single button with a rollover and a popup. All that was required was adding the hints to the end of the names, opening SiteGrinder and clicking the "Build" button.

Popups are deceptively simple and very powerful.

• You can add as many popups to a button as you like!.
  In the above example we could have added seven layers all named "sample-popup" and they would all have appeared when the button was rolled over.
• The "-popup" hint, like many of the hints, works on layer sets.
  We could have put several layers in a layer set and then just named the layer set "Sample-popup" and all of the layers would have appeared for the "Sample-button" regardless of their individual names.
• SiteGrinder can also hide layers when a button is rolled over using the "-hide" and "-popdown" hints.
• Popups do require the user to have Javascript turned on.
