The SiteGrinder "-popdown" hint is used to hide a specific layer when a specific button is rolled over.

Thus a button layer named "Mysterio-button" will hide any layers named "Mysterio-popdown" when "Mysterio-button" is rolled over.

Thus "-popdown" is specific. Otherwise, if you'd like to have a layer that disappears when any popup appears, use the "-hide" hint.
