How do I keep a popup constantly visible on a certain page?
Sometimes you will want to control popup behavior on a page by page basis. You may wish to eliminate a popup on a particular page or you may wish to have it be on constantly.
Imagine a popup for "Gallery-button" that says "Be sure to visit our image gallery!" It doesn't make sense for that popup to operate on the Gallery page itself.
On the other hand if your popup for "Gallery-button" is a nice image in the navbar area representing your gallery you may want it to be on all the time when you are viewing the Gallery page regardless of the rollover of the "Gallery-button" to help reinforce visually which page the user is on.
SiteGrinder accommodates both of these situations on a page-by-page basis using the "Popups on page" menu in SiteGrinder's "Pages" panel.
To force a popup to be constantly visible on the page it corresponds to, follow these steps:
To hide a popup on the page it corresponds to use the same option but make sure the popup layer is hidden in the layer comp or page definition for the page.
