Is the "button name" the layer name or the contents of the type layer?
The "name" of a button is very important. When names match between buttons and pages SiteGrinder automatically links them together. When names match between buttons and popups or menus, SiteGrinder automatically adds popup interactivity. So this is an important topic to understand clearly.
For a -button layer that uses the -button hint, the "name" of the button is the name of the layer minus all hints. For example: If a layer is named "taxi -button -text", its name is "taxi" and it will match to any page, rollover, popup or menu with the name "taxi". The actual contents of the text field don't matter at all.
A text layer that has the -menu hint is actually a set of buttons. The "name" of the menu itself is the name of the layer minus all hints. But the names of the menu item buttons are derived from the content of the layer. If the menu is a vertical menu, each line of the text field is the name of a new button.
