Introduction

The up-button hint is part of SiteGrinder Pro's powerful automatic image gallery creation system.

Many gallery designs provide one or more pages of thumbnail images. The thumbnails are linked to individual pages showing full-sized versions of the images they represent. When a gallery is structured in this way it is very useful to provide a button to navigate from the pages showing the full sized images back to the page showing the thumbnail the user clicked on.

SiteGrinder Pro makes this very easy by providing the up-button hint. This hint is a little different from most other SiteGrinder hints in that it must be the full name of its layer.

Aside from the automatic linking a layer with this hint behaves just like standard SiteGrinder buttons. An up-button, for example, can have an associated up-rollover and even multiple up-popups. The contents of the button, text or graphic, don't matter, only the layer name.

The up-button hint has no other purpose in life.
