This hint is only added to layer comp names. Specifies that a layer comp represents a page that should be created by SiteGrinder and that if there are buttons with a matching names they will link to this page. This hint is optional for pages linked to by standard buttons...they will link to layer comps with matching names even without this hint. "Home-button" will link to a layer comp named "Home-page" or simply "Home". But page comps with no matching button, even if they are linked to from "-link" layers, require this hint.
-gallery
This is a SiteGrinder 2 Pro hint. This hint is only added to layer comp names. It is never used with the -page hint. The two are mutually exclusive. The "-gallery" hint specifies that a layer comp represents a gallery page, that is a page that when given a folder of external images will copy itself over and over making one new page for each image. Galleries are very powerful and there are several hints associated with them and much discussion.
-button, -b
Specifies that a layer or layer set will respond to a click by instructing the web browser to load some resource from the web. Usually this is simply another page the SiteGrinder is building, but it can be a page from another site. "-button" can be abbreviated as "-b".
-menu
Specifies that a one line type layer is a horizontal text menu or a multi line type layer is a vertical text menu. Each menu item will generate a page in SiteGrinder's "pages" pane and auto link to matching page names.
-link
Specifies that the contents of a type layer contains a hyperlink to another web resource, usually a web page. This resource will be loaded by the web browser when the user clicks on the corresponding "-button" layer. This causes any corresponding buttons to not generate a page in SiteGrinder's "page" pane, and to not match to a SiteGrinfder page of the same name.
-@link
Specifies that the contents of a type layer contains an email link that will open as a new message in the user's email program. Email links can include both an email address and a subject line. This causes any corresponding buttons to not generate a page in SiteGrinder's "page" pane, and to not match to a SiteGrinder page of the same name.
