Need a new unlock code?
All of our products have unlock codes that lock to the serial number of the host application. When you upgrade the host application to a new version you'll need to get a new unlock code. There are request forms for this.
If you are using our Director Xtras PhotoCaster, Alphamania and the Effector Sets or DreamWeaver Extension WellRounded and have upgraded your copy of Director or DreamWeaver and need new unlock codes, then go here.
If you are using our Photoshop Plug-ins PSD2FLA, SiteGrinder and have upgraded your copy of Photoshop then you can request new unlocks here.
Lost an unlock code?
If you've lost an unlock code, send us an email with your name, company, as much order information as you can remember (phone, email for order, invoice #, host application serial number). Don't forget to mention which product you are looking for. Send the email to sales@medialab.com

Technical support is provided by email only. Unlike many companies, Media Lab provides very good and timely technical support. Technical support inquiries will be answered by the next business day (24h). (They are usually answered within two hours even on weekends or evenings.) Please, do not attempt to call the sales line with technical questions or leave voice mail messages - the sales line is directed to a completely different locale.
No question is too large or too small. If you are having trouble with any of our products we would much rather help you than have you waste time struggling. Also, hearing from real users having real problems helps us develop and refine the documentation, thus helping everyone.

Here are a few of the most commonly asked questions:
- I'm typing in my PSD2FLA unlock, but it doesn't work! What's wrong?
- When registering PSD2FLA with Photoshop CS or Photoshop CS2, there are additional instructions that must be followed to register. They should have arrived in the email with your unlock code, or you can find them here.
- My plug-in/Xtra/extension is defacing the graphics when I use it. Why?
- The plug-in is not registered and is therefore in demo-mode and defacing the output. If you've recently changed your harddrive, re-installed your system or application, then you probably just need to look up your unlock code and re-register the product. If you recently upgraded the host application then your previous unlock will not work with the new host serial number - we have online forms where you can request a new unlock code, at no charge.
