Case One

A 50-year-old woman presented to her physician, reporting increasing fatigue over the past several weeks. Routine blood tests were ordered.
Her white blood cell count was elevated with a slightly abnormal absolute lymphocyte count. To evaluate the patient's lymphocytosis, a peripheral blood sample was submitted for flow cytometry.
The following cytograms and histograms represent data from the blood sample that was analyzed using flow cytometry.
