Multiplexing

Multiplex PCR is used to detect two or more target sequences of DNA or RNA simultaneously using a single sample preparation and amplification. Multiplex analysis is commercially available for clinical laboratories in the form of syndromic panels. These are available for GI pathogens, blood culture pathogens, and CSF pathogens.
