Most writers will tell you that a story has five important elements, the last element being the “resolution” or end of the story. The story of phlebotomy differs in that, at least for the foreseeable future, it does not have an ending. The tools of the phlebotomist or the way the tools are applied may change, but the story of phlebotomy and the many professional women and men that help make that story will make exciting reading for many years to come.
