Our upcoming case simulator, the Bacteriology Case Simulator, showcases 49 organisms common to the clinical setting. Both aerobic and anaerobic species are included. Students will describe colony morphology, review Gram stains using the virtual microscope, logically assemble testing pathways, and interpret biochemical testing to confirm identification. They will use the split-screen view to compare organisms or simultaneously display the resource-rich interactive identification flow chart. At the conclusion of each case, users can watch videos in which clinical instructors describe the interpretative and critical thinking processes of identifying each organism.

Our virtual microscope case simulators help students develop visual identification skills in various areas including Red Blood Cell Morphology, White Blood Cell Differential, Advanced White Blood Cell Differential, Urinalysis, and Body Fluids.

Our three online practice exam simulators help students prepare for MLS/MLT, HT/HTL, and PBT certification exams, respectively. Each exam simulator contains a large library of practice questions designed to emulate all of the content areas of the exam. You can create customized tests using our provided questions. Students can test their knowledge with a variety of testing modes, including a computer adaptive testing mode, review mode, test mode, game mode, and more. Our exam simulators are available for institutional subscriptions with MediaLab and for individual subscriptions with LabCE.
